Fayose denied bail as case adjourned till Wednesday 24th, October, 2018
The former governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, was denied bail by Justice Mojisola Olatoregun in an 11-count charge centering on money laundry, abuse of public office, criminal breach of trust and stealing, of about N6.9bn, charged by the department of Economy and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC.
Fayose who was brought in by the EFCC this morning by 8:30 was denied bail as case was adjourned till Wednesday 24th of October, 2018, following his plea of not guilty.
He has been in the custody of the EFCC for 5 days and has been denied bail still by Justice Mojisola after bail application filed by his legal counsel, Kanu Agabi.
Wednesday 24th, October, 2018, Fayose faces another trial.
