Governor Ambode’s impeachment Is A Lie- Obasa

Impeachment of Ambode is a ‘’false’’

On Monday, at the house of assembly, the impeachment of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode was false.

In the briefing, the speaker of the house, Mr. Muda Shiru Obasa, said it was a false news.

Obasa claimed receiving calls from prominent society members over the threat of impeaching Ambode.

He said that the actions of the governor would determine his stay or not.

“Even at that, the impeachment is constitutional, so many speakers, senate presidents, presidents and others have been impeached all over the world’’.

“We don’t need the wailers to guide us in performing our duties, it is not out of place for us to do our job.’’Obasa states.

“So nobody can threaten us, if it happens, because we are representatives of the people.’’he further stated.
