If you have another country you’re free to leave- Buhari
At the presidential villa, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, quoted the president saying, “Any Nigerian who felt they had another country outside Nigerian might choose to go”. He further said that, he and any other who remains Nigerian would rather sit back and repair the country together.
The president encouraged Nigerians to remain faithful and a loyalist to the country in all their engagements.
“You don’t have to be in uniform to be loyal”, Buhari said.
He also commended his former deputy, late Maj. Gen. Tunde Idiagbon, and talked his loyalty to the nation and his superior. He then urged Nigerians to be like him.
During the meeting, kwara state APC governorship candidate, Abdulraman abdulrazaq, said despite the fact that they are having party crises in the state due to the decamping of the state governor and senate president, they are still assuring the president of their total support and will act on his marching order to win kwara state.
“He is history. We have gone past him and we are looking at the government house,” he insisted, when asked about Saraki’s influence in the states election.
