Angry APC members holds protest in Zamfara and Niger State
Members calls for Oshiomhole’s resignation
On Thursday, at Zamfara and Niger States, the crisis at the All Progressive Party, APC, intensified as the aggrieved party members held a protest.
As reported, the protest commenced around 9:am with hundreds of angry members at the APC headquarters. They protested calling for the resignation of the party’s chairman, Adams Oshiomhole.
According to the reporters, the protest was organized by the chairmen of the 14 local government areas, spearheaded by Mr. Aminu Gamagiwa, chairman of Maru local government and the All Local Governments Forum of APC chairmen in the state.
The protesters were addressed by Babangida Mohammed, the secretary of the forum who stated that in the states had lost their trust in the party’s national chairman.
