5 Warning Signs your Job isn’t Right for You.

Some jobs are either on a short- or long-term basis. Keeping up with long term jobs can be demanding.

One may feel comfortable at first, but when organizational values start to shift from its original principle, questioning your future is the only option made available.

Sometimes such changes bring about anxiety, depression and increased workload. However, how do you feel when such occasion arises?

Here are some warning signs your job no longer accommodates you:

  • You dread going to work: when you welcome a new day, and preparing for work seems like a wasteful adventure, then you need to reweigh your choice of remaining in your job or signing out.

  • When the company doesn’t practice what it teaches: deciding to start in a job environment which doesn’t match your principles and values is a delay in success. If an opposite in a job contract is felt, weigh your success rate in either staying or leaving

  • When you are surviving not thriving: don’t try to become someone else just because you want to survive in a job or please your employer. Just because a company has nicely designed spaces or excellent clients, offers free gift doesn’t mean it will guaranty your happiness. Look for a job that aligns with your strength and values.

  • When you don’t see a future there: when you no longer find purpose or take initiative towards innovation can be a look out. Consider where you want to be like in the next five to ten years and if your job cannot provide this vision, then re-consideration is your alternative.

. Warning Signs your Job isn’t Right for You: When you are constantly complaining: when you start seeing and speaking of too much negativity about your job is a clear sign you will need a sign out. For example, when people inquire about your job and all you rant about is how bad they treat you, or how less they value your strength and skills or warding off your ideas, then you need to consider.

Before choosing to leave your recent job ensuring to have put other alternatives in place will prevent financial breakdown.

Ensure you don’t quit your job when you know you don’t have a better alternative to avoid idleness.
