This is a game changer
This is the time where I say my briefness (shortness) is a blessing in disguise.
Now you can finally climb a tall ladder, look at that tall friend of yours (in the face) and say what sup……. lol.
Science researchers have now disclosed that tall persons are more likely to develop cancer unlike other average or short heightened people.
This is because possibility of getting cancer increases in the body by 10% for every 10 centimeters (4 inches) and they are over the average height.
They have more cells which could transform and lead to cancer.
These findings when compared to previous research turn out the same, revealing that height increases the risk of cancer, blood clots, heart problems, diabetes and some other health issues.
In Leonard Nunney study, who is a professor of biology at the University of California Riverside, he examined 10,000 cases of previous data for both men and women, linked the facts with predicted results on height.
In his hypothesis test, it was realized that it was as a result of possible hormonal differences in tall people, that could lead to rise in cell division.
The study revealed the relationship between a person’s total cell number and their chance of contracting cancer in 18 of the 23 cancers tested.
The research also unveiled that the risk is higher for taller women, with 12% more likely to get cancer and 9% for taller men.
These findings, corresponded with Nunney’s prediction rates of 13% for women and 11% for men, using his model.
