10 Burna Boy – Ye

It has been a great year for Burna Boy since the release of his album in January ‘’outside’’,

The track, ‘Ye’, confirmed by fans on social media as the unofficial ‘national anthem’ of the Nigerian youths music lovers, a challenger for song of the year and one of the most anthemic records released this year will again get major buzz this festive season.

Chinko Ekun – Able God

Featuring Lil Kesh and Zlatan, Chinko counted a street hit late in the year, and the acceptance continues to get better just in time for the festive period.

December is a time where there will be plenty of spending and the prayer on the lips of every Nigerian as they party will be that of ”no more insufficient funds.”

Wizkid -Fever

Wizkid has made it a strategy to always have his music tied in with the festive buzz and this he accomplished last year with the release of ‘Manya’ in November.

He is back again and even though this time released a month earlier, he has been able to deliver another mega record in ‘Fever’ which will set the dance floors on fire this Xmas season.

Burna Boy – Gbona

After taking over the year with ‘Ye’, Burna reappeared with another catching single in ‘Gbona’ in the second half of the year, which has been lovingly accepted and looks set to stir more people unto the dancefloor.

Victor AD – Wetin We Gain

This song is proof that you don’t need to make a regular fast paced song to feature on the playlists of Dj’s in the clubs.‘Wetin We Gain’ by Victor AD is that anthem that reverberates with everyone and after the stress of the year, if you don’t come out to chill out this December, really, ‘wetin you gain?’

Naira Marley – Japa

Marley came to our awareness with the release of the monster single, ‘Issa Goal’ and he has followed it up with another rock-hard record in ‘Japa’, which captures the dream of the average Nigerian who just wants to leave the country for the US or Canada.

Kizz Daniel ft Davido – One Ticket

This super charged power collaboration became a specialised hit instantly it was released and it is only going to get larger this December.

Mayorkun – Posh

Mayorkun’s ‘Posh’ is that record to set you off the speed bounds. He also released in November and his headline concert holding in the second week of December, there is certain to be enough publicity around him and his music, and ‘Posh’ is that groove that will make the period really magical.

Teni – Case

Teni has proven yet again she is talented with the delightful record, ‘Case.’‘Case’ is a love story  where her lyrics glows ever so radiantly in sparkling colours and you only have to be at occasions to see how the crowd sing along to the hook to know that this will be another much-loved in the holidays.

Zlatan – Zanku Legwork

Just as ‘shaku shaku’ took over the Nigerian music industry late in 2017, the ‘Zanku’ appears set to be the next trending dance in the Nigerian music scene and the man who is getting credit for pioneering its majority demand is Zlatan.‘Zanku Legwork’ is already an anthem on the streets of Mainland Lagos and with a lot of ‘across water’ movement due this period, though lyrically sparse but backed by an upbeat instrumental, this represents music that will drive spirited dance moves in the coming weeks.
