Tekashi69 is full of s**t if he thinks he was cheated out of a $3.6 million contract by his former booking agency … said the agent for the agency.
Tekashi69 went on an extreme assault on MTA Booking during an interview on “The Breakfast Club” Friday. He accused that the company stole a load of cash from him … and said he only received a couple hundred thousand dollars from what was supposed to have been a $3.6 million deal.
A representative for MTA told a source there was never a $3.6 million performance deal that was only something that came up in negotiations as a possibility and the agency went above and beyond for Tekashi69.
It was told MTA & Tr3way Entertainment handled Tekashi’s security, travel, transportation and worked around the clock to make sure he made it to his numerous court appearances out of harm’s way.
MTA said they booked 9 forthcoming U.S. shows and 2 in Mexico for Tekashi69 all of which he endorsed and was sent a $700k deposit for those. It was known that there were also 5 in Germany already booked for which he was paid close to $160k in deposits.
MTA said again they’re considering serious legal action against 6ix9ine for criticising them on “The Breakfast Club.”
Tekashi’s lawyer, Lance Lazzaro, smash back against MTA, telling a source, “We have asked MTA to show us any agreements with Tekashi69’s signature showing they were acting as an agent to book performances on his behalf and they haven’t provided us with any to date .Their assistance has been very limited.”
He also specified, “I would take anything MTA says with a grain of salt,” and he concluded that they have asked MTA to stop and abstain from booking any more shows for 6ix9ine.
