China’s agriculture ministry revealed it has confirmed African swine fever on two farms in Beijing, the first cases in the Chinese capital, on Friday
The ministry said that the disease was spotted on two farms in Fangshan district, in the southwest of the city.
Nearly 70 cases of extremely spreadable African swine fever have been reported in China, early August. This disease does not affect humans but is regularly deadly to animals.
