Well, it has been a long day for Phil Mickelson that $200,000 bet with Tiger Woods went not as he planned.
Recollecting, earlier this week, Phil bet Tiger $100,000 that he would birdy the 1st hole at the big pay-per-view golf match on Friday. Tiger was so assured, he said to Phil “double it.”
Phil didn’t entirely botch the hole. He had a flawless chance to win the bet. But when he hit the golf stroke, that would have given him the flaky, it stopped short.
He triumph the next shot for par — but the harm had already been done.
Tiger sneered and commented, “That hurts the pocket.”
The both tied on the first hole. They’ve been excellent friendly throughout the match thus far, speak on everything from their kids to how casual Samuel L. Jackson is.
They’re anticipated to make more side bets during the match as they contend for that $9 million winner-take-all grand prize.
All the best!
