Ariana Grande is directed to high school for her imminent homage-filled music video for “Thank U, Next,” and she released what could realistically only be called a trailer for the video on Monday.
Grande tweeted out the uproarious, beautifully shot promo, which profile an all-star cast playing high school students, who divulges how buzzes about Grande’s personal life have influenced their own life choices.
From Mean Girls star Jonathan Bennett to singer Troye Sivan and YouTube star Colleen Ballinger, the short clip is crammed with famous faces, and serves as the perfect topical primer for her hotly anticipated video, which accountedly pays encomium to a company of beloved female-led comedies.

The singer has teased odds and ends of the upcoming video over the last few weeks, posting snaps that suggest it will consolidate elements of Bring It On, Legally Blonde, 13 Going On 30, and a whole lot of Mean Girls.
