Exposed: See What Traders Now Do To Bags of Rice Before Selling (Video)

Rice traders were taped tearing open new bags of rice to remove quantities before repacking it to sell as a full bag at same price as a full 50kg bag of rice.

It’s been an open secret that traders who sell beans, rice, and other grains in bags do this but a Facebook user, Woli Kekere, managed to film these ones in the act and shared videos online to expose the scam.

According to the Woli, at least 8 dericas (cups used to measure rice in Nigeria) of rice was removed from each bag. They then transferred the rest of the rice from the regular bags into slighly smaller bags to make it fill the bag to the brim as though it were a complete bag.
