Interpol issues arrest warrant for Diezani Allison-Madueke

The International Police (INTERPOL) have issued an arrest warrant for former Nigerian oil Minister, Diezani Allison-Madueke following an invitation by the federal government to the agency.

in line with reports, the mandatory charges had been filed and attached to the extradition request by the workplace of the Attorney-General of the Federation and by this request, all international law enforcement agencymember countries were obligated to arrest the previous minister anyplace she is seen on their territories.


Madueke has been in London, uk for over 3 years. connected to the extradition request was the November 4, 2018 order for her arrest by Justice Valentine Ashi of the FCT high court.

The court had directed the Inspector-General of Police; the Chairman, Economic and financial Crimes Commission and the Director-General of the State Security Service and every one heads of different agencies to apprehend the ex-petroleum minister.

The judge additional directed that the order that was signed by the court registrar, E. Balami, ought to be connected to a warrant for execution on Madueke.
