Buhari will continue to address me as sir – Obasanjo

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has made a bold statement on wednesday saying he has every right to criticise President Buhari who will continue to address him as ‘sir’ until he, Obasanjo, leaves this earth.

According to the former President Obasanjo, he was Buhari’s former boss in the Nigerian military and so remains his boss for life. When he was Head of State, Obasanjo had, in March 1976, appointed Buhari as the federal commissioner (position now called minister) for Petroleum and Natural Resources,

Obasanjo made this statement when he spoke at the 2018 Ibogun day celebration in Ogun, Southwest Nigeria.

“I know Buhari and he, too, knows me. Till the day i die, Buhari will continue to address me as ‘Sir.’

hmm, when two elephants fight, only the ground suffers it.
