James Ingram is dead lost battle to cancer

American icon musician James Ingram has been pronounced dead at the age of 66. He died after a long battle with brain cancer. This is made known on social media by Debbie Allen on her twitter page which she wrote:

“I have lost my dearest friend and creative partner James Ingram to the Celestial Choir. He will always be cherished, loved and remembered for his genius, his love of family and his humanity. I am blessed to have been so close. We will forever speak his name.”

The late James Ingram is a Grammy award winning artist and has collaborations with big names such as Quincy Jones and Anita Baker. His hit ‘Baby, Come to Me’ which was released in 1983 made him very popular and also the hit ‘I Don’t Have the Heart’.

Ingram also did some hits with Michael Jackson by co-writing the smash hit P.Y.T. What a true legend.
