A lady just sold her baby for #200000 to open a provision shop

Young lady by the name Blessing Aluna has been apprehended by the police in Niger State, Nigeria for selling her baby for #200,000 so as to open a shop to sell food items.

Blessing who is 23 years of age resides in Rimi Lokoja Local Government Area of Kogi State, was arrested for allegedly planning with Oludare Jeprince her boyfriend and accomplice, to kidnap and facilitate the sale of the baby. So sad

After interrogation of suspect by police, she blamed poverty for her action. Saying:

“Imagine me selling my child for money; that will tell you the level of hardship in the country. I sold my own child for N200,000 in order to open a provision store in Suleja at least to take care of myself and my siblings.”

“I have done the worst thing to humanity and especially to my own child. I don’t think I deserve to be alive, let the law take its course.”

Sanctioning their arrest, the police command spokesperson, Muhammad Abubakar, said the suspects would be arraigned in court as soon as investigations are concluded.
