The Judicial Staff Union of Nigeria, Lagos state chapter, has suspended their 23-day old strike.
The workers had joined their national body to embark on the strike action to demand for financial autonomy for the judiciary.
After series of meetings with the state government, the workers have agreed to call off their strike and resume work. Their resumption followed a directive by the Administrative Department of the Lagos State Judiciary.
Although all departments of the state judiciary have opened, the courts are yet to commence sitting.
