Friends of 22-year old Mass Communication student of the Cross River University of Technology, Priscilla Ojong, are insisting that she is missing and believe the video she posted online yesterday May 14, was done under duress.
LIB on Friday morning, May 14, shared the story of how friends and relatives of Priscilla began an online search for Ojong stating that she allegedly travelled from Calabar to Lagos State on the invitation of a male friend and has remained incommunicado for over three weeks. Read the initial report here.
Hours later, Priscilla shared a video on her Instagram page, dismissing claims that she is missing. According to her, she is in Calabar and not Lagos as speculated. She also added that she has remained incommunicado because her phone was bad.
However, her friends and some other Nigerians do not believe she is safe. They insist she is missing and feel she made the video under duress. They averred that the black dress she wore in the video she uploaded was torn. They also said if indeed she is safe, she should make contact with her family members and also come on IG live. They also wondered why her phone became bad immediately after she left to meet her male friend.
