Donald Trump booed at Alabama rally after encouraging his supporters to get the Covid-19 vaccine
Donald Trump was booed by some of his supporters when he encouraged them to take the Covid-19 vaccine.
The former US President was in Cullman, Alabama, on Saturday night, August 21, at a “Save America” rally.
While speaking, he told his supporters that he believes in their freedom but he advised them to take the Covid-19 vaccine.
He said: “I believe totally in your freedoms, I do, you’ve got to do what you’ve got to do. But I recommend that you take the vaccines.”
This suggestion was met with boos from the crowd.
“Nah, that’s OK, that’s all right,” Trump said in response to the boos from the crowd, then added, “you’ve got your freedoms but I happened to take the vaccine.”
Once the booing died down, the former president joked that the crowd would be the “first to know” if the COVID-19 vaccines didn’t work.
