Baby friendly Apple Spice Donut version:
Ingredients:
1 egg
1 ripe banana mashed
½ cup unsweetened oat milk
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 cup brown rice flour
1 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp baking soda
½ tsp cinnamon
pinch of nutmeg and ground clove (optional)
1 small apple peeled and grated
½ cup warmed up coconut butter + sprinkle of cinnamon for glaze
Directions:
In a small bowl mix together oat milk and ACV and let sit for 10 minutes.
In a medium bowl mashed banana and whisk in egg, vanilla, and oat milk.
Stir in dry ingredients and fold in shredded apple.
Divide batter evenly into a greased donut pan and bake at 350F for 11 minutes.
Let cool for 5 minutes in pan before transferring to a wire rack.
Warm up coconut butter on the stovetop on low heat with cinnamon and dip tops of donuts into it and set aside to set.
