Music executive Diddy and alcohol giant Diageo have buried the hatchet after being ensnarled in a nasty legal battle last year.
This was confirmed in a joint-statement they released. It read;
“Sean Combs and Diageo have now agreed to resolve all disputes between them. Mr. Combs has withdrawn all of his allegations about Diageo and will voluntarily dismiss his lawsuits against Diageo with prejudice. Diageo and Mr. Combs have no ongoing business relationship, either with respect to Cîroc vodka or DeLeón tequila, which Diageo now solely owns.”
Diddy had sued the company in 2023, accusing them of racism for allegedly neglecting his tequila line, DeLeón Tequila. Diddy claimed Diageo put his booze on the backburner, alleging there were racist intentions behind it.
Diageo denied it, claiming they’ve tried dealing with this behind closed doors.
