The craziness that comes when someone beholds his/her favourite artists performing on stage is nothing short of enthralling.

The person may go wild dancing, and even attempting to express his or her excitement with a kiss.

That was the feeling last Sunday night, when Globacom, a digital solutions provider feted its teeming workers in celebration of the company’s 20th year anniversary.

The high-octane party and night of razzmatazz, held at the prestigious Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos was one of a kind. It had in attendance members of Glo staff from across the country who thronged the venue in Glo’s color-compliant dresses and costumes.

The venue of the event was also lavishly decorated with flashes reflecting Globacom’s touch of green.

From the dance competition to the fashion show and cocktail segment, the evening was packed full of entertainment. For anything, it was a moment of reunion for the Glo workers and they didn’t spare anything in the evening of fun, music and dance.

The party which was themed, “Twenty and Unlimited”, was held as part of Globacom’s 20th anniversary celebration.

The company rewarded a total of 89 staff members who had worked for the company for an unbroken twenty years with several millions of Naira each at the exquisite party.

Speaking at the party, the Executive Vice Chairman of Globacom, Mrs. Bella Disu, noted that the Board and Management of the company were pleased with the awardees for their contributions to the growth of the business in the last 20 years.

The party, she said, was organized to reward them and encourage them to keep striving for greater excellence.

In attendance were the Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke; Ovation Publisher, Dele Momodu. Others were Nollywood stars ; Ego Boyo, Ini Edo, Juliet Ibrahim, and Bolanle Ninalowo, as well as comedian Broda Shaggy, and fashion icon, Mai Atafo.

Hosted by actress Abebe Moet and TV show host, Tee A, the evening was spiced by musical performances from the trio of Wande Coal, and Glo ambassadors Chike Ezekpeazu Osebuka and Oluwatobiloba Anidugbe popularly known as Kizz Daniel. The trio were in their element as they churned out evergreen vibes that kept the audience dancing all night.

Chike resonated well with the guests, particularly the female fans who almost mobbed him, while he strayed into the crowd, performing his love songs “If You No Love” and “Roju.” But when he sang his signature anthem,”Running(To You)”, the whole place erupted in excitement as the female fans quickly milled around the stage, dancing and singing along with him. Some were even trying to hug the sonorous singer, while many others followed him as he was performing. It was the same experience with Wande Coal, who also wowed the guests with some of his evergreen songs such as “Bumber 2 Bumber”, “Rotate”, “You Bad (Mixed)”, and his 2009 song “Kiss Your Hand”, which featured award-winning music star, Ikechukwu.

Meanwhile, the performances reached a crescendo, when Kizz Daniel stepped onto the stage to a thunderous applause. He sang some of his latest hit songs as well as old numbers, including “Cough” , “Buga”, “Nesesari”, Woju” and “Oshe.” But like Chike’s “Running(To You)”, Kizz Daniel got everyone on their feet as he performed his latest hit song, “My G”, which drew the curtain for the night.
