Super Eagles forward, Victor Boniface has been nominated among the most skillful players in the Bundesliga this season for his outstanding display for league leaders, Bayer Leverkusen.
The 23-year-old forward, who has won four consecutive Rookie of the Month awards in the German top flight, has been rated as one of the standout signings of the season.
He was nominated for his individual brilliance during Leverkusen’s Bundesliga clash against RB Leipzig at the Bay Arena in August 2023.
In that game, Boniface executed a cunning feint, deceiving his opponent into anticipating a right-footed shot, only to cleverly pass the ball with his left foot. Leverkusen emerged victorious with a 3-2 scoreline.
Boniface will contest for the Bundesliga skillful player award against Borussia Dortmund returnee Jadon Sancho, Hoffenheim’s Andrej Kramaric, and RB Leipzig youngster Xavi Simons.
