Kim kardashian is a girl’s girl!
During the June 6 episode of The Kardashians, Kim celebrated her 43rd birthday in October 2023 with a star-studded private bash at Funke restaurant in Beverly Hills.
Mom kris Jenner and sisters Khloé kardashian, Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner were in attendance as well as many of Kim’s friends including famous pals Hailey Bieber , Kimora Lee Simmons, Lauren Sánchez and Ivanka Trump. (At the time, Kourtney kardashian Baker was pregnant and on bed rest so she could not attend.)
Kim’s longtime inner circle, Allison Statter , Simone Harouche, Lindsay May, Sarah Meyer Michaelson, Zoe Winkler Reinis and Ashley Kassan, were also at the party to celebrate — and Kim made sure to give them a shoutout when cameras came around.
“It makes me feel so good that everyone wanted to come out and celebrate and have dinner with us. So tonight, I just want to celebrate with my girls, and I think all of us just need that sometimes,” Kim said.
“[They are] officially the ‘lifers’ that I talk about,” Kim later told cameras after her friend group introduced themselves. “My friend circle, I always say I hit the jackpot in the friends department. Spending my 43rd birthday with all the girls that inspire me and motivate me is just really special.”
As footage of Kim greeting everyone at the party played, the SKIMS founder further detailed how the friendships in her life had impacted her — and helped keep her mental health in tip-top shape.
“This week, in particular, has been complete chaos, but honestly, I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for my friends, like I have the best friends and they’re super supportive,” she explained. “I think that’s probably why I’ve never seen a therapist, [it] is because I have the best friends in the entire world, and they mean everything to me.”
Leading up to Kim’s birthday bash on the new episode, she had been called in to do jury duty. Though the reality star jokingly asked if “there’s some kind of O.J. connection that could get me out [of it],” referring to the late Orenthal James “O.J.” Simpson who was friends with her late dad Robert Kardashian Sr., she ultimately served her duties and was able to also celebrate her birthday.
At the time of the party, Khloé, 39, shared details on her Instagram, revealing all the glittering designs inside the lavish dinner party, which was held at the rooftop bar of Funke.

Khloé’s post featured a series of photos that highlighted the party’s bohemian theme, including the array of plants that surrounded the long, wooden center table. Each place setting was marked with a name card and menu, while a line of grass arrangements and candles brought in a cozy feel to the space.
Kim also shared her own post from the event, and echoed her sentiments about her friends in the caption.
“So blessed to have hit the jackpot of friends! I couldn’t have ever dreamed I would be so lucky to call these girls my friends ✨ thank you for all the birthday love ❤️” Kim wrote in the caption, adding, “and Kourt I’m jumping in bed with you next week for our bed rest picnic 🎂.”
