Gisele Bündchen and Joaquim Valenteare looking cozy despite a reported split.
The supermodel, 43, and her jiu-jitsu instructor boyfriend, 36, were photographed taking a walk together with dogs on Saturday, June 15, in Surfside, Florida. They were both dressed casually for the outing, with Bündchen in a white tank top and dark jeans and Valente in a blue T-shirt and black pants.
Bündchen had her arm around the Miami-based entrepreneur in a photo as they talked and walked the pets.
The couple, who began dating in June 2023, met because Bündchen’s son Benjamin took jiu-jitsu lessons at Valente’s academy.
“He was a huge comfort for Gisele while she went through her divorce. Their friendship turned romantic after the divorce,” a source told PEOPLE of Valente in February.
“Joaquim is a great guy. He is down to earth, kind and inspiring. Gisele was hesitant about dating after the divorce. It’s been very natural for her to date Joaquim,” the source added.
The pair’s recent outing comes amid reports of a breakup following the roast of Bündchen’s ex Tom Brady which aired on Netflix in May and reportedly caused stress in Bündchen’s relationship with Valente.
A source said at the time that the Nourish cookbook author was “deeply disappointed by the disrespectful portrayal of her family” during the roast.
“As always, [Bündchen’s] priority is to support her children who were affected by the irresponsible content that was broadcasted,” the source added.
The Netflix event didn’t directly include jokes about any of Brady’s kids, including his children with Bündchen — Benjamin, 14 and Vivian, 11. But host and comedian Kevin Hart did mock Valente and other participants like Nikki Glaser referenced the model and former NFL star’s 2022 split and subsequent divorce.
