Savannah Chrisley will always be in her parents Todd and Julie Chrisley’s corner.

The Chrisley Knows Best alum, 26, reacted to headlines about her parents and shared why she’d always come to their defenses in a recent episode of her Unlocked podcast. While discussing her estranged brother Kyle Chrisley’s comments about Todd on Father’s Day, she opened up about why she refused to let criticism about her loved ones slide off her back.

“First off, I will protect and defend my parents till the end of time. I love them more than life itself,” she said before elaborating on the strong bond she has with her father.

“Everyone that knows my family and [if] they’ve been following us for a while, they know that my dad and I have probably the strongest relationship out of any of my siblings,” Savannah explained. “Before he went to prison, we did everything together and we talked about things that we couldn’t talk to anyone else about.”

“So I get protective and when I see things that are just false, it really pisses me off. I have no other way to say it,” she admitted.

Todd and Julie were indicted in August 2019 for 12 counts of bank and wire fraud, tax evasion, and conspiracy, all of which they have denied. The couple was cleared of their state tax evasion charge in Georgia in October 2019 but continued to face federal charges for allegedly evading federal taxes.

On June 21, a judge vacated Julie’s prison sentence, stating the case lacked sufficient evidence. However, her husband Todd’s conviction was upheld.

Since then, Savannah has advocated for her parents and been vocal about her fight to bring both of them home.

In a photo shared to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, July 31, the reality star posted a screenshot of a fan message she received in support of her parents and their release from prison.

The message featured a fan describing a “vivid” dream they had of Todd returning home to his family. To that, Savannah responded while captioning the DM image, “Your messages give me the strength to continue to fight the good fight.”
