Vanessa Morgan’s family just welcomed a new member!
On Thursday, Aug. 1, the Riverdale alum, 32, revealed her second baby — her first with boyfriend James Karnik — has arrived in a new TikTok video. Morgan posted a video of Karnik, 33, carrying their baby out of the hospital, writing, “The famous hot dad walk while leaving the hospital didn’t disappoint.”
“Ok fine, knock me up again 😂🤰🏽,” she joked in her caption, resharing the video on her Instagram.
Karnik shared the same video on his Instagram Stories alongside the caption, “Little did yall [sic] know my girl was waiting for this video/moment since we first found out.”
Morgan also shares a 3-year-old son, River, with her ex-husband Michael Kopech.
The couple first announced they were expecting in an Instagram post from Morgan on July 6, where she announced in the caption that the baby would be arriving “this month.”
Morgan and Karnik later revealed the sex of their baby in another Instagram post on July 7. “My GIRL🌸.. can’t believe you’re gonna be here any day now,” the Wild Cards actress wrote in the caption.
“River literally asks everyday is baby sister coming today!? He’s so excited to be your big brother,” she added in the post.
The actress previously spoke to PEOPLE in November 2021 about the parenting advice she received from her former Riverdale costar Mark Consuelos and his wife, Kelly Ripa.
“I talked to Kelly [and Mark] after I gave birth [to River],” she said at the time. “They were just excited for me, and gave me beautiful, beautiful baby clothes for River.”
She said that Ripa, 53, also gave her advice for healing after a C-section.
“She just told me, ‘Yeah, up to a year you might still feel pain,’ and all this stuff. So it was nice talking to somebody else who’s been through it. She has given me some good advice of healing in that way,” Morgan recalled.
