Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell are content staying a family of three.

In a new Q&A video uploaded to the Australia Zoo YouTube channel, the nature conservationist couple answered some questions, including the one they get asked very often: “Will you be having more children?”

“Basically, we get asked this question a lot,” Powell, 27, began in the video. “And Bindi, a lot of you may already know, she went through a big journey with endometriosis. And basically it was an absolute miracle that we had Grace.”

Powell went on to explain that he and Irwin, 26, are content with their life with little girl, 3-year-old Grace Warrior Irwin Powell.

“We love Grace so much and are reveling in every little moment we have with her, with our little miracle baby,” he said. “So we are so happy with our little family at three.”

Irwin, the daughter of the late “Crocodile Hunter” Steve Irwin, echoed her husband’s response, but also shared a reminder that the inquiry should not be raised lightly.

“And I really appreciate everybody who’s curious to see if we will have another child, but I do just want to send it out there that remember to be careful when you ask this question because you never know what’s happening in someone’s life,” she said.

Irwin continued, “In a family’s world, everything may seem fine on the outside, and on the inside, their own personal journey might have been filled with turmoil and challenges, that you know, you can’t even fathom.”

The mother of one also said she understands why people ask the question — and appreciates “the kindness and good intent behind it” — but maintains that “it’s also a really tricky question for many, many people who maybe can’t have another baby [or] can’t have a baby at all.”

“We feel very lucky to have Grace,” she said. “She is our beautiful girl, but she will probably be our one child. So she will be our one child.”

Still, Irwin concluded her response by saying that “you never know” what the future holds. “Maybe we will be blessed with another little one down the road,” she added. “That would be incredible. But, yeah, who knows?”

While opening up about her struggles with endometriosis — and how lucky she feels to be mom to Grace — to PEOPLE in August 2023, Irwin also discussed how painful it is to be asked if she and Powell are going to have more kids.

“I feel like it is a universal question for women, which is heartbreaking because you never know what’s going on in someone’s life and what’s happening behind closed doors,” she said at the time. “And someone asking you, ‘Why aren’t you having more children? It’s your responsibility to have more children.’ It breaks your heart because we all have a different journey and a different story.”

Irwin and Powell “feel so lucky to have Grace,” she also told PEOPLE of her toddler. “I think that every day I wake up and I look at our beautiful daughter and think she is our tiny little miracle and it makes me cry because we were very, very lucky to have her.”

According to Irwin, “There was every chance that we wouldn’t have been able to have a little one, so to have our beautiful girl, we are so lucky. I wish more people would pause before asking, ‘Why aren’t you having more children?’ “
