It was a match made in fashion heaven for Justin Theroux and Nicole Brydon Bloom.
On Monday, Sept. 9, the newly engaged couple stepped out for the designer Thom Browne’s dinner celebrating the spring 2025 collection, alongside a number of other celebrities, all wearing pieces from the new collection. They all gathered in New York City for Fashion Week — and Theroux and Bloom wore his-and-hers suits.
Both wore dark blue suits — his nylon, hers denim — with a white button-down under the jacket and a tie. They each finished the look with black shoes, and she accessorized with one of Thom Browne’s signature Hector bags in black.
The couple has had a whirlwind few weeks. While the Beetlejuice Beetlejuice star, 53, and Bloom, 30, were at the Venice Film Festival in August, she debuted her brand-new ring after they got engaged just prior to the event.
Theroux popped the question while the two were in Italy for the festival, where Beetlejuice Beetlejuice premiered.
On the red carpet, Theroux and Bloom wore appropriately bridal looks, with her in a white gown and him in a cream blazer and black slacks. The star of her outfit, though, was her ring. The custom engagement ring is by Stephanie Gottlieb Fine Jewelry. The 4-carat, emerald cut, flawless diamond is set in platinum with 18-carat yellow gold inlay. It also features Bloom and Theroux’s birthstones embedded in the band.
The two were first linked in February 2023 at a Netflix event and were first seen sharing a kiss in August 2023.
Theroux briefly discussed his preference to keep his romantic relationships private during an interview with Esquire just a few months before their first photographed date night in August. At the time, the actor said it’s “much more fun not being in a public relationship.”
