The search for a mother who went missing for days in Australia with her four children, including a two-week-old baby girl, has come to an end as they have been found alive, according to authorities.

Rochelle Watts, 35, was found “safe” along with her children on Monday, Sept. 30, following a days-long search after going missing on Friday. Sept 27, New South Wales Police confirmed in a statement on Tuesday, Oct. 1.

“Following extensive inquiries, she was located safe yesterday (Monday Sept. 30),” police said. “Police would like to thank the media and the community for their assistance.”

On Friday, Sept. 27, New South Wales Police said in a news release that Watts was last seen at around 2:30 p.m. local time in the town of Goulburn, located approximately 120 miles southwest of Sydney.

“Police and family hold serious concerns for her welfare,” officials said, adding, “[Watts] is believed to be with her four children.” She has two sons, who are 15 and 10, an 8-year-old daughter and the aforementioned newborn.

The family’s German shepherd, Elsa, was also believed to be with them, police said at the time.

Police previously said they had received a tip that the mom of four may have been in Murgon, Queensland, which has a population of 2,000 people and is roughly 750 miles from where the family was last seen.
