A woman has blasted a stranger on Twitter who defamed her by claiming he used to have sex with her and also accused her of being a liar, whereas they have never met before.
The Twitter user involved in the defamation made the claims while chatting with someone else who knows the woman.
Two men were chatting about Twitter and how people could easily go viral. One of the men then shared a photo of his female friend who went viral after she posted a simple photo. The other man reacted claiming he knows the lady in the photo.
He went ahead to say a lot of things about her, including that they were “f***ing that year” and that she is a liar who claimed she had a fiance.
He appeared to have realized his mistake when he saw that the person he was chatting with was only replying with “Lol”. That was when he confessed that he doesn’t know the woman.
The friend shared the screenshots of his chat with the woman who was being defamed and the woman called out the stranger on Twitter for lying about her when they don’t even know each other.
The screenshots have divided Twitter users as some are saying what the man did is no big deal while others claim defamation is a criminal act because it destroys people’s reputation.
