Thiago Alcantara and Gareth Bale seem set to complete two of the most talked-about deals of the transfer window on Friday, but there are still plenty of other moves afoot too

The Premier League look set to welcome a couple of superstars on Friday when Thiago Alcantara and Gareth Bale complete their moves to England.

Thiago’s long-trailed switch to Liverpool will finally come to fruition when he signs on the dotted line for the Reds, while Bale will rejoin Tottenham on loan from Real Madrid seven years after he first left the club for a then world-record fee.

Both clubs aren’t stopping there either.

Spurs will also wrap up the signing of the Real Madrid and Spain full-back Sergio Reguilon, while Liverpool are still in the hunt for the Watford attacker Ismaila Sarr.

There are plenty of other deals on the horizon too, as the transfer window heads towards a potentially frantic final two weeks

Brentford close to new addition
Brentford are reportedly close to adding a new front-man.

According to Sky Sports, a deal for Amiens striker Saman Ghoddos is close.

The 27-year-old will initially join on loan with an option to buy next summer.

Icelandic goalkeeper Runar Alex Runarsson has reportedly arrived at London Colney to complete his Arsenal transfer.

An announcement is expected to confirm the move in the next 48-72 hours.

Jota fee
A deal for Diogo Jota is on the cards for Liverpool.

They are set to sign the Wolves ace for a fee in excess of £35million.

Jurgen Klopp’s side have moved fast after landing Thiago Alcantara.

Thiago Alcantara has arrived, now they could add another new face.

The Reds are being strongly linked with a move for Wolves forward Diogo Jota.

He was left out of the squad to face Stoke last night and could be on his way out at Molineux.
