Paulina Biernacka, 26, was reported missing in the early hours of Sunday morning in Abbey Hey in Manchester.
It was said that she was last seen around 1am and left a home without taking any belongings or money with her, the Manchester Evening News reports.
Greater Manchester Police officers launched a search and appealed for help from the public, saying they were “becoming increasingly concerned” for Ms Biernacka’s welfare.
But the search came to a tragic end when a body was found at a park in Gorton, where forensics officers were seen on Sunday night.
