Carl Handley, 52, passed away at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd, Wales, on October 25. The day before dying in hospital, he tested positive for Covid-19 but told his family he was feeling better

A man working for B&M told his family he was feeling better the day after testing positive for coronavirus, but died the following day.

He had experienced coronavirus symptoms and had been self-isolating, but was admitted to hospital as he struggled to breathe last Friday.

He tested positive for the virus on Saturday, but he told his relatives he was feeling better, North Wales Live reports.

His family was shocked and heartbroken when, only one day later, on Sunday, they got the news that Carl had died after suffering a heart attack while on a ventilator.

Carl’s heartbroken relatives said he will be “hugely missed” and that they have “lost a big piece of a collective heart.”
