Shortly before 11.34pm last night two mid-sized terraced houses which were being converted into one fell down in Durham Place, Chelsea.
London Fire Brigade rushed to the scene and helped evacuate 40 people from nearby buildings.
Police officers set up a cordon on the street, where houses have been sold for as much as £16,000,000 in recent years, according to Right Move.
