Angela Rayner has blasted Boris Johnson and Donald Trump for “competing” to be the “biggest idiot”.
Labour’s deputy leader gave a rather undiplomatic assessment of the US President after he discharged himself from hospital and took off a mask while still having Covid.
But she didn’t hold back on her assessment of Boris Johnson either – after the Prime Minister made three gaffes over his own coronavirus rules in less than a week.
She told ITV’s Good Morning Britain: “Him and Donald Trump are competing – who’s the biggest idiot?”
Asked who she thought the biggest idiot is, she replied: “It’s tough competition if I’m honest. It’s really tough competition.
