Authorities in Arizona are investigating the stabbing of a student on the Arizona State University campus last week that led to another student’s arrest.

Mara Daffron was stabbed on Thursday, Sept. 19, while walking into a class on campus in Glendale, Ariz., 12 News, AZ Central and FOX 10 Phoenix reported, citing unspecified court records.

Fellow student Kaci Sloan, 19, was arrested soon afterward in connection with the stabbing, the ASU Police Department said, according to 12 News, AZ Central and ASU’s The State Press. An ASU spokesperson confirmed the arrest in a statement to PEOPLE.

“Kaci Sloan was immediately detained and arrested on suspicion of first-degree attempted murder; aggravated assault with a deadly weapon; interfering with an educational institution; and disorderly conduct,” an ASU spokesperson told PEOPLE. “She is being held on a $250,000 cash only bond.”

Online court records for Maricopa County currently only show Sloan is facing charges of aggravated assault with deadly weapon and disorderly conduct with a weapon.

Authorities alleged in the unspecified court documents that Sloan told them she had a premeditated plan to carry out the alleged attack, per 12 News, AZ Central and FOX 10 Phoenix.

A GoFundMe has been set up to assist with Daffron’s recovery.
