Ben Affleck was seen heading to the office as rumors continue to swirl regarding his marriage to Jennifer Lopez.
Affleck, 51, was photographed wearing a gray blazer, a light blue button-down shirt and jeans on Thursday, Aug. 8, in Los Angeles as he arrived at an office building holding a manila envelope. The sighting comes as his wife Lopez, 55, recently returned to L.A. and began searching for a new home in the city after spending much of her summer on vacation in Europe and in the Hamptons, New York.
The Air actor and filmmaker recently purchased his own new home in the city after he and Lopez, who married in 2022, publicly listed the Beverly Hills mansion they purchased in May 2023.
It is unclear whether Affleck was wearing his wedding ring out in L.A. on Thursday, but he was seen going without the band as recently as Monday, Aug. 5. Lopez, meanwhile, was seen wearing her green engagement ring that Affleck, 51, gave to her in April 2022 on her right hand as recently as Aug. 1, though she did not appear to be wearing her own wedding band at that time.
A source recently told PEOPLE that Lopez “hasn’t seen Ben for weeks” and that the couple is “moving on separately” as she returns to the west coast, nearly three months after sources first said the pair were living separately. “Jennifer is trying to find a new home to start fresh,” the source added on Aug. 6.
Affleck’s most recent sighting also comes the same day Amazon MGM Studios released first look images at the new wrestling biopic Unstoppable, which Lopez appears in and Affleck produced with his friend Matt Damon and their production company. The movie follows the story of wrestler Anthony Robles, who was born with one leg and won a NCAA national championship in 2011; Jharrel Jerome(Moonlight) plays Robles, while Lopez portrays his mother Judy.
Unstoppable is making its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September. The movie is one of two upcoming films starring Lopez that Affleck and Damon produced, along with Kiss of the Spider-Woman.
While Affleck does not appear as an actor in either of those films, he has a number of other projects in the works, including a sequel to his 2016 action film The Accountant.
