💓 5 Best Tips For Preventing & Shortening Colds & Flus
I hate being sick. You’re entire day and week is just horrible and ruined. You feel and look like junk!

And when I was younger, I would always get sick. I think back then, the reason was I would be exercising and playing sports too much. I basically over-stressed my body. And on top of it, I just wasn’t getting enough rest – nor eating enough nutritious foods.

So, over the years I’ve done a lot of work to really boost my immune system. I just don’t have the time to be sick. And it’s really worked because I rarely ever get sick. I can’t even remember the last time I got the flu.

So, let me share with you some of my favorite tips for preventing and shortening colds and flus.

1 Wash Your Hands Often

This is a big one and I’m sure you already know that washing your hands frequently is very important. But, are you doing it?… Additionally, you need to make sure that you don’t stick your finger in your eyes, ears and nose – unless your hands are clean.

2 Take Immune Boosting Supplements

This is a big one for me. I take the following year round, for their immune boosting properties:

Vitamin C: I take up to 10,000 mgs daily. But, I suggest you start with 500 mgs, 3x daily and work your way up.

Zinc: This mineral boosts the immune system and is also good for testosterone levels. I take about 30 mgs daily and long with 2 mgs of copper. Both should to be taken together in a 15:1 ratio.

Selenium: Surprisingly, most people don’t get enough selenium in their diets. I suggest 200 mcgs daily or 5x weekly with the weekend off.

Vit D3 + A: Both of these work together and most are deficient. I take 10,000 units daily and then will take off the weekends usually.

NAC: N-Acetyl Cysteine is an amino acid that strengthens your liver and also helps increase glutathione levels.

Pre & Probiotics – Having good bacteria and gut health is extremely important. So make sure you’re taking both.

Now, IF you’re sick, you can also try taking herbs such as:
Black Elderberry

3 Drink Lots Of Water
Most people are dehydrated and during times of stress and thus, typically drink even less water.

4 Manage & Reduce Your Stress

Almost always, when I’m under extra stress for too long — physical or emotional — I get sick.

Of course, you can’t always control stress. However, you can control the MEANING of stressful situations. By this, I mean that when something goes badly, don’t make it out worse than it is. Don’t keep reliving it in your head and keep talking about it to everyone you know, over and over again.

That just magnifies the pain and continues to cause hormonal imbalances, which kills your immune system.

If you can do something about the stressful situation – great, focus on the SOLUTION and move forward.

If you can’t – then that’s fine to. It’s in the past. What can you LEARN from it, so this doesn’t happen again in the future. And you’ll be better prepared for it. Then, move on.

5 Get Better Sleep & More Rest
Deep, restful sleep fixes almost everything. This is when your body is in healing and fixing mode. So, give sleep a bigger priority, especially when you’re sick.

BONUS TIP: Get Out & Get Social
