This series alone racked up a whopping 28,000 Ofcom complaints after viewers were left outraged at the judge’s racy frocks and Diversity ‘s Black Lives Matter-inspired routine.

The dance group’s routine triggered thousands of complaints alone, making it the most moaned-about moment of the series by far. 

That, teamed with Amanda’s outfit choices as well as some controversial auditions secured BGT a spot in the history books.

The hit ITV series – fronted by Ant and Dec – has received a total of 27,898 official Ofcom complaints this year.
