A British couple was booted out of a luxury five-star hotel and forced to quarantine in a “disgusting squat” after one of them tested positive for Coronavirus.
Furious Paula Henry, from Bury, says she has been separated from her husband and threatened with prison and a huge fine if she leaves the apartment in a remote part of Rhodes.
The 48-year-old says she’s under 24 hour surveillance as she does her 10 day isolation.
She told the Manchester Evening News the conditions she is now confined in are ‘appalling’ – and claims to have discovered several cockroaches in her room.
Her plight is made worse by the fact she has been separated from her husband, Wesley Seale, who is locked down in another room within the same apartment complex.
