Italian club, Juventus won the Serie A league title on Sunday night, July 26 after Cristiano Ronaldo and Federico Bernardeschi’s efforts helped the club defeat Sampdoria 2-0.

Maurizio Sarri’s team win ensured they were seven points clear of second-placed Inter Milan with just two games left to play. The win means Juvenus have now won the league for the 9th consecutive time, a huge feat given how competitive the league has been over the years.

Star player, Cristiano Ronaldo opened the scoring for Juventus in the first-half injury time before midfielder Federico Bernardeschi added a second in the 67th minute. Juventus’ marquee signing, Ronaldo, had another attempt to score again with a penalty but missed it  late in the game.

This is the second major trophy for Juventus coach,  Maurizio Sarri, as his Europa league win with Chelsea was his first. The very first time he won a trophy was with Serie D club, Sansovino, 17 years ago.

Congrats to them.
