Sulking Donald Trump released a bitter statement saying the race for the White House is “far from over” and saying his lawyers will be going to court to overcome the will of the American people
Sulking Donald Trump has refused to admit defeat, claiming the election is “far from over” as Joe Biden finally beat him in the race for the White House.
In a statement, the foul-tempered President repeated his baseless claims over election fraud, saying: “The simple fact is this election is far from over.”
He said that his lawyers will be going to court in a bid to overturn the result after the American people voted him out.
“Beginning Monday, our campaign will start prosecuting our case in court to ensure election laws are fully upheld and the rightful winner is seated,” his deluded statement said.
As Trump was seen on his golf course in Virginia, Biden said he is “honoured” America has “chosen me to lead our great country”.
The President-elect added: “The work ahead of us will be hard, but I promise you this: I will be a President for all Americans – whether you voted for me or not.”
