A man is accused of murdering Kimberley Deakin, who gave birth to her baby girl in June, after she was stabbed and ran screaming “help, help” to her neighbours’ homes in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire
This is the first picture of a “doting” mum who was stabbed to death and collapsed holding her four-month-old baby girl in her arms.
Kimberley Deakin was heard screaming “help, help” as she fled across the street to her neighbours’ homes in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffs., on Friday afternoon.
Covered in blood and clutching her baby to her, the 29-year-old banged on doors before collapsing and dying from her injuries.
Her infant daughter, who was born in June, is now believed to be living with heartbroken relatives.
Her devastated sister Brittany has described Kimberley the family’s “rock”, adding: “She didn’t deserve to have her life taken from her.”
A 39-year-old man has been charged with murder and was due to appear in court on Monday.
