Police have launched an urgent search for a missing family of four, including two children aged around one and two.
Officers say they are growing “increasingly concerned” for the safety of Charlene Collins, 25, and Martin Collins, 27, and the couple’s two young children.null
They were last seen leaving their home in Derry, Northern Ireland, at about 9.30am on Tuesday.
Police haven’t named or pictured the children as part of an urgent appeal for information on the family’s whereabouts.
The parents are missing with their two children, said Police Service of Northern Ireland in the appeal issued in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
“Police are becoming increasingly concerned for the whereabouts of Charlene Collins (25) and Martin Collins (27).
“Charlene & Martin were last seen yesterday with their two young children (approximately 1 and 2 years old) at 0930 hours in the O’Connor Court area of the city.
“If you have any information on the whereabouts of this family, please contact 101 as soon as possible quoting reference number 1225 9/6/20.
“Thank you!”
The appeal was posted on the force’s Police Derry City & Strabane Facebook page.
Local residents told how they had seen the family earlier in the week.
A local woman wrote on the police Facebook page: “Hope use r found safe an well she is a lovely girl to chat with an always has her 2 babies everytime i see her.”
Another woman wrote: “I saw these two on Monday with two little ones boy and girl.”
