Chanel Banks hasn’t been in contact with her loved ones since Oct. 30, her cousin said on a GoFundMe page
The family of missing actress Chanel Banks is continuing to search for her two weeks after she vanished in Los Angeles.
According to a GoFundMe page set up by Banks’ cousin, Danielle-Tori Singh, the 36-year-old — who played Sawyer Bennett in Gossip Girl — hasn’t been in contact with her loved ones since Oct. 30.
Police carried out welfare checks on Banks on Nov. 7 and 8, but she was reportedly not present at her Playa Vista apartment on both occasions, the GoFundMe page continued.
Singh, who has now flown to California from Toronto to search for her missing cousin, stated that she and her aunt had managed to get into Banks’ apartment on Nov. 10, where they saw the actress had left behind her dog and her car, which was reportedly parked in her garage.

“The only items we did not locate are her phone and laptop. She also does not go anywhere without her little dog, which also has been left behind,” the GoFundMe description stated.
“She would NEVER go anywhere without telling her mom or myself,” Singh added.
Singh said her cousin — who also appeared in the TV drama Blue Bloods — had been married for just over a year and the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) had told them there were “no signs of foul play” at her home.

“The last text we got from her before her phone went off the grid was Oct. 30,” Singh told KTLA. “I’m not going to leave California until I find my cousin.”
The LAPD told the outlet they’d conducted four welfare checks and had been looking into Banks’ disappearance.
“Five days without hearing from my cousin is red flags and alarm bells,” Singh added to KABC a few days after Banks disappeared. “She doesn’t go more than 48 hours without speaking to me or her mom. … That girl is more like a big sister to me.”

“I can tell you in my soul, in my gut, something is not right. … We’re crossing two weeks now without a word, without a sound. Nothing,” Singh told the outlet.
The family’s GoFundMe has raised over $3,000 so far. “We also need money for hotels, food, rental car and gas,” Singh added about the family’s search in the post, adding that Banks’ mom had flown in from New York to help.
