A female police officer suffered a stab wound in the abdomen while she was attempting to detain two men who are suspected of attempting to rob a grocery store

A police officer continued chasing two robbery suspects after she was stabbed in the abdomen.
Shortly after 3.40pm today a male and female police officer witnessed two men armed with knives attempt to rob a grocery store in Westminster.
The shopkeeper had managed to push the men out of the store, where the officers attempted to detain them.
As they challenged the suspected robbers the female officer was stabbed in the abdomen.
