Flogging Molly is canceling more than 30 scheduled performances due to their frontman Dave King dealing with a health problem.

On Wednesday, Feb. 5, the band released a statement on its social media accounts and shared that the musician — who they referred to as “our fearless leader” — is “currently battling a very serious health condition.”

They asked family, friends and fans to respect the privacy of King, as well as his wife Bridget Regan, who is also a member of the band.

“Any good thoughts or prayers you can send Dave’s way, he and we would appreciate it,” the statement said.

“Unfortunately Flogging Molly will be unable to perform shows in 2025,” the band added. “With the Salty Dog Cruise 12 days away, the boat will sail as planned with 18 bands, and members of Flogging Molly, on board to celebrate the cruise, the community and our captain, Dave King.”

In addition to the Salty Dog Cruise, Flogging Molly was also scheduled to kick off their Road To Rebellion Tour on Feb. 24, which has now been canceled.

No additional details about King’s health have been released.

However, many bands and fellow musicians left messages sending well wishes to the lead singer in the comments section.

“Love ❤️ and prayers 🙏 for Dave’s health and recovery , sorry to hear this news and I’ll definitely keep them in our thoughts!!” wrote pro-skateboarder Steve Caballero.

German rock band Donots added, “Keeping Dave, Bridget and you guys in our thoughts. Truly hope everything will be fine in the end. Much love from the Donots HQ! ❤️❤️”

“Much love to Dave and the whole FM family. ❤️‍🩹” NOFX commented.
