A nursing mother took to Twitter to raise alarm while narating how her husband was allegedy arrested by uniformed army officers who refused to give a reason for the arrest.

#FreeImoleayo is currently being tweeted by Nigerians on Twitter.

A Twitter user who first brought the arrest to the public space tweeted: “Good morning everyone, please @imoleayomichael was taken away from his residence on Friday morning around 2:30am by unknown policemen and Army officers and up till this very moment, no information about his whereabouts! Please RT till relevant authorities see this…”

Imoleayo Michael’s wife then responded to the tweet with further details.

She wrote: “Nigerians help me find my husband, please help. I have a 7months old baby at hand and his mum is aged, they took him away right in front of us, no words from them till now, location unknown.”

She added: “No information about @imoleayomichael till now,we have being searching all the security outfit we can access all day,Nigerians Pls help me bring my husband home. #AbujaTwitterCommunity Pls help me retweet and tag people or organization that can help me. It’s past 24hours already.”

When asked the reason the army gave for his arrest, she said: “They didn’t say a word to me, I was locked up in the bed room, by the time I broke the door,@imoleayomichael was already dressing up to follow them. They only told me they are taking him for questioning.I followed them and they threatened to shoot me.@lamar_ralph.”
