A member of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, Esla Adams, has died in a motor accident six days to his wedding introduction.
It was gathered that Esla, from Akwanga, Nasarawa State, perished in the accident which occurred on Monday morning, May 20, 2024, along Akwanga-Lafia expressway.
Esla’s marriage introduction had been scheduled for May 26, 2024.
The deceased graduated from the University of Jos, Plateau State.
He was well known for metal fabrication and welding with a workshop located along Keffi road, Akwanga.
According to a statement issued by his family, he will be buried on Friday May 24th.
This is after the funeral service at the ERCC ‘Bethel Land’, Angwan Kpandom, Akwanga, Nasarawa State.
The burial ceremony will begin on Thursday May 23rd with a wake followed by a candlelight procession from Lafia road to the famous White House in the Angwan Attah area of Akwanga.
Sympathizers were advised to wear black dress for the candlelight procession starting by 5:30pm.
Meanwhile, friends and family members have taken to Facebook to mourn him.
“Bro Esla Adams, I am so speechless hearing about ur demise after all the years in University of Jos a current serving corp member preparing for ur marriage introduction 26th of this month. You are no more yesterday. ahhhh what a world. We just meet in lafia on Sunday, Monday u are no more. Tor we can’t question God. May soul find rest in Bossom of our Lord Jesus Christ,” one Comr Simon Lukeson wrote.
